As Disciples of Christ, we are called to study and read scripture for ourselves, to think critically and thoughtfully, and to consider the context – the time, history, and background of the biblical passage.
At Bible study, we bring our questions, insights, and a mindset of openness to hear what the Spirit is saying to us through Scripture. We’re also invited to share our own interpretations, life and faith experiences with others, if we’re comfortable doing so.
